Godfrey Persaud heads Port Mourant Cricket Club

ROSE Hall Town businessman Godfrey Persaud was elected president of the Port Mourant Cricket Club, when that club held its Annual General Meeting last Wednesday at the Port Mourant Cricket Club Main Pavilion. Persaud, who takes over from outgoing president Davendra Kallindra and would have also held the Club’s top position from 1999 to 2007, will have Faizul Mohammed as his vice-president, Nandkumar Sewpersaud as secretary, Kelvin Seepersuad as treasurer and Herman Stephen Latcha as the assistant secretary/treasurer.

Jaipersaud Rawana, Crawl Gobin, Rajendra Bolo, Tony Pooran and former Berbice senior inter-county captain Randolph Latcha will serve as committee members.
The elected executives will be meeting shortly to appoint the various sub-committees of the club. (Vemen Walter)
