FOLLOWING the completion of their NALICO/NAFICO-sponsored Inter-association Under-15 tournament, the junior selection panel of the Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) has named a 26-man squad from which the final 14 will be selected to defend the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB)-organised Castrol sponsored Inter-county Under-15 title. As is expected, pugnacious opener and skipper of the victorious East Coast Under-15 team which defeated defending champions Georgetown in the final last Friday, Brian Sattaur, is included in the lineup and according to information received, is earmarked to lead the defending champions.

Also included in the squad which will commence practice sessions at the Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) ground today, under the guidance of coach Gavin Nedd and manager Raymond Barton, are Andrew Gibson and Terrence Alstrom, two batsmen who are capable of taking apart the opposition bowling on their day.

Tagenarine Chanderpaul, the son of West Indies middle order batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Kamesh Yadram, Chandrika Persaud, Prince Roberts, Premraj Lall, Steven Sankar and leg-spinning all-rounder Devon Lord are also included in the lineup.
