LINK SHOW 26 sizzles with satire- continues to entertain the public

LINK SHOW 26 continues tonight at the National Cultural Centre and will run until Monday, March 1t.
All shows begin at 20.00hours and patrons are kindly asked to be there well before the curtain hour.
According to producer, Mrs. Gem Nascimento, audiences have already been going back for a second time.

Laughter is good therapy and the Guyanese public is well aware of this,” she said.
She added that the well established, annual satirical review has become an institution in our society and the public eagerly awaits its opening every February.
The Link Show team included stalwarts like Howard Lorimer, who has been in every Link Show; Nasim Hussain in 23 and Henry Rodney over 20. Derek Gomes, an old stager in these shows in the 80’s and 90’s have returned to the scene.
Sherry Ann Dyal, Sheldon Braithwaite, Michael Ignatius, Leslyn Lashley, have all joined the team in the late 90’s.
Newcomer Raymond Persaud was part of the Link Show 25 tour to Berbice while Francis Bailey, an accomplished musician was brought onboard after his performance of ‘The Pothole’ piece in Paul Keens Douglas ‘Talk Tent 4’ in October 2009 , produced by GEMS Theatre Productions.
Other new comers, Paul Budnah and Sean are members of GEMS Youth Theatre Workshop
Tickets are on sale at National Cultural Centre, Nigels Supermarket and Giftland Officemax at a very reasonable price of $1500; $1000 and $700.
