BLAZE Bailey, 25, of Lot 75 William Street, Campbellville, Georgetown, was yesterday granted $50,000 bail on a robbery under arms charge. He secured the grant from Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton on an application by Defence Counsel James Bond, who assured there is no likelihood that the accused would interfere with any of the witnesses.
Particulars of the indictable offence, with which Bailey is charged, said, on February 12, armed with a knife, he robbed Shondel Robins of a gold chain in booty worth a total of $103,000.
The case will be called, again, on March 8.
