NDDP disburses feed relief to Essequibo cattle farmers

THE National Dairy Development Programme (NDDP) has distributed feed to 72 cattle farmers on Essequibo Coast, as relief from the current El Nino weather conditions.

Cattle Development Officer, Charles Gregory, told the Guyana Chronicle that the distribution was aimed at assisting the beneficiaries with supplementary food, because forage would be less or of poor quality.

He said the recipients, who rear animals between Good Hope and Bounty Hall, got a total of one hundred and seventy-five 70-pound bags of rice bran.
