MINER Dexter Aulder, 32, was yesterday remanded to prison on a rape charge.

Before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson, he was charged, indictably, with having had carnal knowledge of a female without her consent, on January 20.

The accused (no address given) protested that he was framed but the magistrate refused him bail and transferred the case to Bartica Court, for February 24.
