SUDDIE Public Hospital, on Essequibo Coast, has a new Medical Superintendent and Administrator.

Chair of the Health, Sanitation and Environment Committee of Region Two (Pomeroon/Supenaam) Regional Democratic Council (RDC), Mrs. Juliet Coonjah announced that the new Medical Superintendent is Dr. Reneka Persaud, who recently returned after completing studies in Cuba.

Persaud is the daughter of retired Abram Zuil Secondary School Headmaster, Mr. Maydha Persaud, a currently serving member of the Teaching Service Commission (TSC).

Dr. Persaud has replaced Dr. Kavita Persaud.
Meanwhile, the Regional Administration has appointed Mr. Budhnarine Ramnarine as Administrator of the hospital.
He has vast experience in teaching.
