The Guyana Police Force wishes to inform the general public that in order to facilitate the smooth conduct of the Main Big Lime along Main Street, Georgetown, on Saturday December 26, 2009, the following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic from 8.00 hours to midnight:

* The eastern and western carriageways of Main Street, between Church Street and Lamaha Street.

* Avenue of the Republic between North Road and Church Street.

* Church Street between Water Street and Avenue of the Republic.

* Middle Street between Carmichael Street and Main Street.

* New Market Street between Carmichael Street and Main Street.

* Quamina Street between Carmichael Street and Main Street.

* Lamaha Street between Carmichael Street and Main Street.
