SHAZAM Bacchus and Bibi Zaleel (no addresses given) were yesterday remanded to prison on charges of unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition.

They appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton and both pleaded not guilty to the joint charges.

The allegations against the defendants are that, on December 18, they had one .32 pistol and eight rounds of 9mm ammunition in their possession, while not being the holder of licences for them.
The duo must be back in Court on January 8, 2010.
