IT cannot be denied that channa bombs and AK-47 was thrown, lighted and rapid bullets were fired at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport Head Office on Main Street, Georgetown.

Mr. Tony Vieira reference of Frederick Kissoon ugliness was not by chance but looks reveal that he is nasty inside and out.

Kissoon in his Kaieteur News column of Wednesday November, 11, 2009 tried to mislead the Guyanese people that there was no shooting at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport Head Office.

The staff at our Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport take umbrage against Freddy describing us as ‘Red Ants’ and describing our offices as Ants Nests.

Let me quote the moron ‘Freddie’ Kissoon.

“When the PNC announced its boycott of Carifesta, there was a subsequent firebombing of the Secretariat. Apparently some ‘terrorists’ threw a channa bomb at the building. This particular episode was comical. I was told that the channa bomb hit the front fence, disturbed the sleep of some red ants, the type which the security forces submerged an alleged drug suspect in a nest, and the ants went into the secretariat causing confusion in the washrooms.

No damage was done but the next day GINA screamed, “Terrorists will not derail Carifesta.” The real intention of course was to get East Indians to feel that ‘De Blackman is at it again.” These ‘terrorists’ should have been in the Mexican circus which is due for a visit to Guyana. Some nasty men want to attack the Carifesta Secretariat and all they would have done is to throw a channa bomb which landed on an ants nest.”

We at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport are inviting all Guyanese to visit the National Sports Commission section and Minister Dr Frank Anthony’s office to show vivid proof of bullet holes and Channa bomb fire at our offices.

We could visit the Minister’s office and see the damage to it . Downstairs Mr. Gervy C Harry, who is a former PNC Regional Chairman and works as the Director’s Deputy, there are several bullet holes and burnt curtains to reveal the truth. The Finance Office where the other channa bomb was thrown, the damaged curtain is still on the window. The several AK-47 bullet holes are evidence of the attack as the shoot out cause real terror on that night.

The staff at our Ministry was shaken, they were afraid to come to work. Further, the female staff members refused to enter their office where the channa bomb was thrown. We had to replace 22 window panes and we are keeping the pieces of Grey Goose Bottle remains as evidence of the attack on our Ministry.

Our staff is fully cognisant of the fact that the bomb and AK-47 were directed at Mr. Anthony’s and the Director of Sport, Neil Kumar offices.

Kissoon daily lies must be confronted. He must not be allowed to fool our people. He must not be allowed to refer to people as ‘Red Ants’. Further he must stop referring to our offices as nests.

‘Fred-Dick’ Kissoon dubbed real terroristic fire bombing and AK-47 shooting as a ‘comical episode’. The ugly monster would like the Guyanese people to believe that people are joking and that they are at a circus.

‘F-Dick – Kiss-on’ attempts to insult the staff at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport must not be consumed by our people. Hence, we are inviting he/she ‘Kiss-on’ along with all Guyana to come and see the truth and nothing but the truth that our Ministry’s Head Office was indeed under serious attack by terrorist who threw channa bombs and fired AK-47 at it.

Let the truth be forever. The men and women at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport go to work everyday. They actually work. They provide services all across this country. To think that a man, who has neglected his job at the University of Guyana by never doing research, should criticise us is shameful.

Freddie Kissoon has had serious problems with the law since he was a young man (eg Book theft) should be the last person to defend criminals.
