Associate Law Professor and Vice Dean of the National University of Singapore (NUS), Victor V. Ramraj, yesterday paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Samuel Hinds at his Wight’s Lane, Kingston, Office.
The courtesy call was to inform the Prime Minister of the upcoming visit by Michael Wing –Chow, another NUS Law Professor, who will be holding talks with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs later this week on the World Trade Organisation
(WTO).
Along with the discussion, Professor Wing-Chow, whose grandparents are Guyanese, will also be on a mission to rekindle ties with his Guyanese roots. He was scheduled to arrive in Guyana last evening.
During the courtesy visit, Professor Ramraj presented his book, Emergencies and the Limit of Legality, to Prime Minister Hinds. He was accompanied by his father, Victor J. Ramraj, who studied with Mr. Hinds at the University of New Brunswick in Canada. (GINA)
