St. Stanislaus student in duo on murder charge

A SIXTH former of St. Stanislaus College is one of two persons charged following the fatal stabbing of a policeman last September 5.

The student, Al Wilson, 18, of Lot 34 Princes Street and Seon Marshall, 19, of Lot 22 Norton and Hardina Streets, Wortmanville, both in Georgetown, appeared before Acting Chief magistrate Melissa Robertson yesterday.

It is alleged that Wilson murdered Jamal Clarke and that Marshall aided and abetted him in the murder.

In answer to the magistrate, Marshall denied any involvement in the unlawful killing.

However, the case for the Prosecution is that Wilson and the victim were involved in an argument about a bicycle when the latter was stabbed several times after Marshall helped beat him.

The duo will remain on remand in prison until October 20 and the cases have been transferred to another Court.
