REPUBLIC Bank (Guyana) Limited has announced that it will be launching its Republic VISA OneCard, a Visa branded International Debit Card on Thursday in the Grand Savannah Suit, Pegasus Hotel.

According to RBL, this will be the first international debit card offered in Guyana and Republic Bank (Guyana) will be the first among the Republic Bank Group to introduce the card.

The Republic VISA OneCard will allow cardholders access to their account(s) from anywhere in the world where VISA is accepted, including ATM’s Debit Point-of-Sales and on-line merchants.

“The infrastructure being put in place to support card usage will soon enable VISA and MasterCard Debit and Credit card transactions to be processed at the Bank’s ATMs and Point of Sale machines located countrywide,” RBL stated.
