Dead: Winston Craig

The police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 0530h. yesterday at Half-Mile Public Road , Wismar , which resulted in the death of pedal cyclist Winston Craig, 58, of One Mile, Wismar .

Investigations revealed that the driver of mini-bus BHH 7849 was proceeding along the roadway when he lost control of the vehicle and struck down the pedal cyclist who was proceeding in the opposite direction.

Winston Craig was taken to the Wismar Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver of the mini-bus, Terry daSilva, is in police custody assisting with investigations
