I am extremely pleased to know that my fellow colleagues from President’s College still call this prestigious institution, “home”. Although I have completed my studies and I am now working I recall my days there.
I used to love being there, feeling like royalty in my school, knowing that we were taught at high standards and that we had wonderful teachers who always made time for us, inside and outside of the building. To date, I still call my former housemaster, whenever I am experiencing difficulties, and he always makes time for me.
Our teachers drilled us to be the best of the best, always pushing us to improve ourselves in everything we did. For those of us living in the dorms, away from our family, our teachers became our surrogate parents, treating us like we were truly their children.
Mr. Editor, many teachers are like this, especially in President’s College, as they aim to make us immaculate and prominent figures in society. This school instilled the most revered values, teaching us to be respectable individuals and to be faithful and useful everywhere. Yes, there may have been a few incidents and teachers who have not done this properly, but in every school you can find such persons.
However, I am pleased to say President’s College hardly had teachers who did not execute their charges properly in my days, and I am positive that all the teachers there presently are capable of accomplishing this mission, to support the College’s motto which declares “We strive for Excellence”!
