Defence of Mr. Gossai is the icing on the cake

THE response by P.I. Peters (if that’s his real name) in defence of Mr. Gossai is the icing on the cake. These guys need to stop spinning the facts! The letter column should be the “no spin zone”. Mr. Gossai’s friends betray all attempts by him to be considered as a serious, intellectual thinker. I guess “show me your company and I’ll tell you who you are” does ring true.

Peters, Seegobin, and Gossai (if that’s their real identity) are confusing inherency (holding to be true) of Scripture with God-inspired when in fact it is one and the same. In Peter chapter 1:20, it clearly says that Scripture is not for private interpretation. But rather, it has it’s origin by the will of God and, not by the will of man, as men were inspired by God to write. We also read in Numbers 23:19 that God is not a man that he should lie or change his mind. Therefore, since we know that God cannot lie because it is against his nature, Scripture is true and is to be taken literally.

Peters also seems to have a problem with the newspaper article in the London Times claiming that it’s just a newspaper article though it was reporting the facts. But if my memory serves me correctly Mr. Gossai was the one who started it all when he quoted a columnist from the New York Times. The fact about anti-matter is that it remains a mystery. It seems like Peters’ fruitcake now has a lot of fluff. I guess I’ll stick to guava.
