THE Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport Inter-Block football competition continues this Sunday at the Victoria Community Centre ground.

The competition was suspended for three weeks due to water on the playing surface at the Victoria ground. Heavy rainfall over the last few weeks had forced the organisers to suspend the matches.

Mid Section Lions take on Road Front Elephants at 14:30 h. At 16:30 h tournament favourites Backdam Super Eagles tackle Giant Killers Belfield Tigers.

The Tigers will be led by Aubrey Gibson, Kojo Huntley, Trevor Fraser. Oral Lashley will marshal the defence which includes Pierre and Dominique Joseph.

The Super Eagles will be led by Samuel Blackett, Shawn Samuels, Dwayne Stephens and Marlis Johnson. Ron Collins will perform duties in the goal.

The Road Front Elephants will be led by Calvin De Souza, Quasie De Souza, Ryan Morrison, Owen Mercurius and Seon Robinson while Mid Section Lions will be led by Andrew Holder, Kurt Adams, Ruben Morris, Orin Elias, and Mortimer Murphy.
