TWO United States (U.S.) citizens, Asia Smallwood and Tracy Samuels, both 24, were yesterday remanded to prison on a drug trafficking charge.
The women appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton and pleaded not guilty to being in possession of three kilogrammes 863 grammes of cocaine for the purpose, on June 7 at Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Timehri.
The case was transferred to Providence Court, also on East Bank Demerara, for June 15.
