Compete with the stamina of a stallion

COMPETE with the stamina of a stallion as you face your competition heads on globally.

This is my message to those selected for upcoming regional and international track and field meetings as reported by Edison Jefford on June 7, 2009 via the KN with the outline of events by the AAG.

As much as we are at a great disadvantage, I am always in awe learning that the El Dorado ambassadors are truly keeping in competition even when the odds are against us.

WRHM 7’s broadcast over the past two weekends on meetings in New York and the Prefontaine Classic were indeed impressive to see medalists from Beijing 2008 Olympics given a run for their money and many being upset.

I predict that we will witness major upsets at the World Track and Field Championships 2009 in Germany this August and I am pleading with he above mentioned channel for the broadcast of this global event.

Corporate Guyana, please consider this venture if sponsorship will be needed.

As the run up to those games, I am really looking forward for the broadcast of the American Trials on either the June 26, 27, 28 or June 27, 28, 29, 2009.

On the other hand, I do have favourites from elsewhere.

A new developing news update that caught my attention appeared in the SN issue of June 9, 2009 where I learned that Guyana’s Sachia Vickery lands a big contract in the USA with the signing of a contract with Lagardere Unlimited.

Isn’t this great news that Guyana is also seen with the potentials for the global tennis arena?

Who would dare argue with me when I say that Guyana possesses hidden talents?

They are now coming out gradually.
For the percentage that represents sports in my life, it is my hope and wish for a medal of any colour by an El Dorado sports ambassador on the track and field podium at the Olympics level.
