THE Camptown Football Club will host a two-day goodwill tournament this weekend involving four teams.

According to the club’s president Troy Mendonca, the club will be staging the goodwill series as a fund-raising effort and has invited three other clubs to be part of the activity.

The other clubs are GDF, Fruta Conquerors and BK International Western Tigers.

The tournament will be played tomorrow and Sunday at the Camptown ground, with GDF tackling Fruta Conquerors from 18:00 h and BK International Western Tigers coming up against Sunburst Camptown from 20:00 h tomorrow.

On Sunday, the two losers will face off in the third-place playoff from 18:00 h and the two winners of Friday night’s matches will square off in the final.

The winning team will receive $80 000 and the Marlon Hendricks Memorial Trophy, while the second-, third- and fourth-placed teams will receive $40 000, $20 000 and $10 000 respectively.
