I’m not sure of all the details of this headline story, but it brings to mind the principle of sharing our roads and waterways. Some might believe it is a right rather than a privilege granted to us, so they continue on with reckless pursuit. I think we should start educating the public on the use of life jackets when on the water – not sure if this was the case in this incident. Like other countries, we should start stringently regulating our roads and waterways and maybe we will be able to avoid such tragedies like those on the G/Town – Linden highway and the Abary Creek.
