The naked attacker, who grabbed his victim while she was on her way home, is being held in custody for further investigations.

He is suspected to have pounced on others and robbed them under the cover of thick bushes littered with garbage in the area.

Villagers said the predator has been living in an abandoned house for several months and is a nuisance in the village.

They want the garbage and derelict vehicles, which provide a safe haven for robbers, cleared from the Enmore Old Road.

“There is an unsightly pile of junk there and we want it cleared,” one resident said.
