I find it very offensive that Dr Maharaj would write such a letter and put down Christianity and the work that these young evangelist are doing in Guyana.
I honestly don’t believe that Guyanese are uneducated or poor to accept Jesus as their personal Saviour after all salvation is God’s free gift to the whole wide world. There is a big difference in peoplexs lives when they find the truth and know the truth. I know in time past many have fail but the truth lives on and we cannot put that light out.
I am thankful for the missionaries that came to Guyana in times past and established many facilities in our country and for the many contributions they have made to society, to bring light in times of darkness, to relieve the suffering of others. My friend, it is not about religion but a genuine change in people’s lives.
