Government commended for efforts to improve justice system

GOVERNMENTxS promise of improving the criminal justice system is indeed happening. As I browsed the daily newspapers I read about the new law that will allow for plea bargaining.

I do believe that such a law will allow for a shorter amount of time for justice to be carried out. In reality, it will allow for an offender to be convicted and incarcerated in a shorter period rather than going through the long process of a court trial.

In light of the many accusations being pointed to the judiciary with respect to delays, this will be pertinent as an offender will now have a choice and vital information may also be revealed as the offender could bargain.

Not long ago, I read about the time limits being given to judges which will allow for the improvement of the judicial system. Both these laws will help in eradicating delays.

Government should be commended for the achievements in the judicial system.
