IN a letter in the Guyana Chronicle of Tuesday April 7, 2009, Mark A.C. Blair wrote, “Jesus died on a Friday, was buried all of Saturday and rose on Sunday”.

I would like him to answer the following questions: (1) Which Bible and where in that Bible will I find Jesus died on a Friday, was buried all of Saturday and rose on Sunday? (2) How and when did the custom of observing Easter got started? (3) When Daniel 9:26, 27 was fulfilled? (4) What day, date, month and year was the preparation of the Passover, and the day and hour Pilate said to the Jews, behold your king, and the crucifixion and death of Jesus? Interpret John 19:14, 31. (5) Was Jesus risen on Easter Sunday morning or the sixth hour sunrise or after sunset Saturday, dawn on Sunday, “Early on the first day of the week?” Interpret Lev 23: 32; Mark 16:6, 9; Acts 12:4. (6) How long Jesus is dead and buried?
