Brahn fined $40,000 on charges of unlawful possession

EDWARD Brahn, 38, (no address given) last Friday appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle to answer the charges of unlawful possession and damaged to property.

He pleaded guilty to the charges, which stated that on April 14, he had three motor car park lights in his possession reasonably suspected to be stolen or unlawfully obtained.

The other charged stated that on the said day he damaged one motor car windscreen valued $20,000 being the property of Joel Baines.

The defendant told the magistrate that the matter is a set up, but he wants to plead guilty so that the matter will finish.

He was fined $40,000 or twelve months imprisonment.
