Casting all the blame on the PPP unfortunate

IT seems as though the Stabroek News has developed its perspective based on opposition lines, a pattern that has been ongoing for a while.

This was obvious in its Editorial of April 12 captioned ‘Task Force.’ After reading the editorial it became clear that the arguments raised were entirely supportive of the opposition.

What is unfortunate also is that it seeks to cast all blame on the PPP for holding up the proceedings of the Task Force which is far from the truth. The editor should note that every story has two sides.

It also mentioned that Mr. Collymore has contributed to the holding up of the proceedings.

The SN editor should be aware that only recently the Co-chairman of the Task Force was appointed when the Vincent Alexander issue with the PNC reared its head.

The editor refused to take into account of the years when Vincent Alexander and Basil Williams were always absent or abroad.

The editorial in my view has taken sides without being cognisant of what transpired.
