THE Cheekies family is celebrating its ‘Cheekies Bundle of Joy’ 10th anniversary supporting new mothers in Guyana and continued with presentations on New Year’s Day.

These lucky mothers received ‘Cheekies Bundle of Joy’ presentations on New Year’s Day.

A press release from Ansa McAl Trading Limited said, “On behalf of all mothers in Guyana, we visited all of those who gave birth to newborn babies on New Year’s Day. We are so delighted with the cute new babies on this special day and would like to extend our heartfelt wishes to all of them.”

“Therefore, the Cheekies family once more set out to make this New Year’s Day a special one through the sharing of hampers with Cheekies Cloth Soft products to all mothers with newborn babies on the morning of New Year’s Day,” the release disclosed.

“By doing this, Cheekies follows the aim to help mothers, especially new mothers, during the first few months to make life easier with the help of quality disposable diaper products,” the company noted.

At the Georgetown Public Hospital the following mothers were presented with hampers: Shainina Hubbard of La Penitence, Georgetown who gave birth to a baby girl at 00:59h; Lakisha Schultz of Laing Avenue, a boy at 1:15h; Arlene Leacock of East Ruimveldt, a baby boy at 1:13h; Slikaidai Pooran of Non Pariel, East Coast Demerara, a boy at 6:20h; Kamla Ghanie of Success, a girl at 6:30h; Kishinattie Seerichand of Cove and John, a boy at 9:00h; and Terry Anna Pyle of Roxanne Burnham, a girl at 21:25h.

At the Medical Arts Hospital, Carletta Agard of South Ruimveldt gave birth to a baby boy at 7:40h.

The first boy and girl at the Georgetown Hospital each received a super-big hamper while the others were each presented with a hamper containing Cheekies Cloth Soft products.

“As a special gift for the celebration of our 10th anniversary, the ‘Cheekies Bundle of Joy’ presentation included Cheekies comfort pillows which we shared out to all the mothers in the maternity wards of both the Georgetown Hospital and Medical Arts. This cute, super soft toy has been especially designed for younger babies,” it also noted.

A total of eight hampers were distributed, along with 35 comfort pillows, the release disclosed.

“As the Cheekies family continues to celebrate new mothers and their babies, we would like to wish all our customers a happy and prosperous year 2009,” the release said.
