That is the story all over the place

YOUR newspaper carried a letter recently written by some people complaining about 40-foot containers in their area damaging the road and parapet. Mr. Editor that is the story all over the place, 40-foot containers can be seen parked for several days in Queenstown, Charlestown and other parts of the city, on the East Bank / Coasts roads and so many other places.
Our main roads and village roads are not built to accommodate such long and heavy containers, surely a place can be found at Houston or there about where the containers can be placed and the importers can go with their lorries to collect the merchandise and carry to the stores.
These containers are dangerous traffic hazards and they are breaking the roads and streets. By the way the vendors removed from Stabroek area are going back slowly.
