GUYANA is set to host one of the Caribbean’s premier maritime events later this year, as preparations advance for the Caribbean Shipping Association’s (CSA) Annual General Meeting, Conference and Exhibition, scheduled for October 26 to 28.
The upcoming event was among the key topics discussed during a courtesy visit on Wednesday by executive members of the Shipping Association of Guyana (SAG) to Minister of Public Works Bishop Juan Edghill.
According to information released following the meeting, the conference is expected to attract hundreds of maritime executives, port officials, logistics specialists and industry stakeholders from across the Caribbean and beyond, further cementing Guyana’s growing role in regional trade and transportation.
