Minister Parag, international education providers discuss opportunities for Guyanese students
On Wednesday, Education Minister Sonia Parag met with Adam Connor from the Northern Consortium of the United Kingdom (NCUK) and Yesid Polania from Rosetta Stone to discuss new academic opportunities for Guyanese. NCUK is a global provider of pathway qualifications that guarantees students access to leading universities worldwide, while Rosetta Stone is an internationally recognised education technology company specialising in interactive language-learning software. The very fruitful engagement was facilitated by the British High Commission, and also included Chief Education Officer, Saddam Hussein; Executive Director of the National Accreditation Council, Marcel Hutson; and Chief Planning Officer, Ms. Mischka White-Griffith (MoE photo)
