Residents of Paramakatoi, Region Eight (Potaro-Siparuni), and surrounding communities are now benefitting from improved access to healthcare, following the commissioning of a ‘smart’ hospital in the village in April this year. This was the fifth hospital to be retrofitted under the Smart Healthcare Facilities in the Caribbean Project.
