GT&T gives generous support to rebuilding of St. Joseph Mercy Hospital

THE Guyana Telephone & Telegraph Company Incorporated (GT&T) has committed $750,000., representing a gold sponsor, towards the rebuilding of the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. The contribution is being made over a three-year period, which began last year. GT&T believes that the hospital has provided outstanding medical care services to Guyana in the past, and the company is pleased to support the hospital rebuilding efforts, so that the institution can continue to deliver effective health care services in the country.
Mr. Chris Fernandes, Chairman of the hospital’s Improvement Commitment, acknowledged GT&T for its support, and noted that it will go a far way in the hospital’s rebuilding efforts, the first phase of which is nearing completion.
