Toys were distributed to the children who were more than elated to not only receive them, but to also meet the officials. The distribution of some 500 toys was held at the Buxton Gas Station and the Lusignan – Good Hope Learning Centre respectively.
“On behalf of my husband and myself, I want to wish everyone a very happy, loving, giving and peaceful Christmas,” Granger said to hundreds of children gathered at the Buxton Gas Station.

At the Lusignan – Good Hope Learning Centre, the First Lady expressed similar sentiments, while thanking the administrators of the centre for their hard work.
Every year, government officials distribute toys in Lusignan, while overseas-based couple Morris Wilson and Jocelyn Wilson donate toys to the community of Buxton.
Jocelyn Wilson said she and her husband have been giving back to the community of Buxton for several years.
