THE Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) will stage its Annual Prabudial `Speedy’ Ramdial Medal Play golf tournament today at the Club’s facility, Lusignan Gold Club, East Coast Demerara from 12.30hrs.

The Vish Ramdial sponsored tournament is expected to attract Guyana’s top golfers who will be vying for honours and according to president of the LGC, Aleem Hussain, a full field is expected to participate.

According to Hussain, Vish Ramdial recently paid a visit to the club’s facility and was impressed with the works that have been carried out and has committed to establishing a women’s Social Club, a school and a University programme.

This is the club’s second tournament for the 2018 season and this will be followed by many more, including the Guyana ‘Open’ in May, the Shivnarine Chanderpaul tournament and the Lusignan ‘Open’ in July.
