LEADER of The United Force (TUF) and Minister of Labour, Mr. Manzoor Nadir will, on Sunday, deliver the feature address at the 2010 Convention of St. Lucia’s United Workers’ Party (UWP).

The invitation was extended to Nadir earlier this week by the party’s executive, according to a statement from the TUF Secretariat.

Nadir’s address will focus around the convention’s theme, ‘Stability and Advancement Amidst Global Challenges’.

The UWP is the current governing party.  It was established in 1964 by the Late Right Honourable, Sir John Compton.

Nadir, who lived several years in St. Lucia, is expected to return to Guyana on Monday.
