MINISTER of Health, Dr Frank Anthony, on Wednesday, met with a delegation from NAFFCO as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships and explore opportunities to support the continued development of Guyana’s healthcare sector.
The courtesy call, which took place at the Ministry of Health’s Brickdam headquarters, focused on areas of mutual interest and potential collaboration aimed at enhancing healthcare services and improving outcomes for citizens.
The NAFFCO delegation was led by General Manager Eng. Abdulhadi Dukhan and CEO Representative Eng. Huthaifa Hamidi, along with other representatives of the organisation.
According to the Ministry of Health, discussions centred on fostering strategic partnerships that could contribute to the expansion and advancement of Guyana’s healthcare system as the country continues to invest in improving health infrastructure and service delivery.
The engagement forms part of the ministry’s broader strategy of collaborating with local and international partners to strengthen healthcare capacity and support ongoing development initiatives within the sector.
The Ministry of Health reaffirmed its commitment to working with strategic stakeholders and organisations to enhance the quality, accessibility and efficiency of healthcare services for all Guyanese.
