GSL-CPL ticket bundle available today at box office

CRICKET enthusiasts in the Caribbean are in for a monumental feast of T20 action this winter as a new marquee tournament lands on South American soil.

The Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and the newly minted ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League (GSL) have joined forces to launch an exclusive, limited-time ticket bundle promotion ahead of a historic cricket season.

The promotional window opens on May 28 and runs through June 2, 2026, offering local and travelling fans a direct pipeline to secure highly coveted seats for both tournament blocks.

Under the bundle structure, spectators who purchase tickets for the upcoming GSL matches will unlock the immediate privilege to purchase an identical number of CPL tickets for the same designated stand, capped at a maximum of 6 tickets per match.

Crucially, demand for the perennially high-octane Guyana Amazon Warriors versus Trinbago Knight Riders (GAW/TKR) fixture has dictated a stricter cap of four tickets per person for that specific clash.

The physical epicentre for the ticket rollout is the Amazon Warriors Box Office located at 233-234 Camp Street in Georgetown. Operating hours are set from 8:30AM to 4:30PM on weekdays, with an abbreviated Saturday window from 9:00AM to 1:00PM to handle the expected rush.

Organisers have stressed that the promotion operates strictly on a while-stocks-last basis, underscoring the necessity for fans to act swiftly before the inventory is completely exhausted.

This joint initiative signals the formal arrival of the Global Super League as a permanent fixture on the global cricket calendar. Conceived as Guyana’s premier homegrown annual event, the inaugural 2026 iteration of the GSL is scheduled to run from July 23 to August 1, 2026.

The tournament will feature five high-profile franchises from major cricketing nations, playing across 12 fixtures, with the entire tournament hosted at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence.

The eclectic team lineup promises to deliver contrasting T20 cricket styles, bringing together the host West Indies representative, Guyana Amazon Warriors; the Desert Vipers from the UAE; the Perth Scorchers XI from Australia; Pakistan’s Lahore Qalandars; and the San Francisco Unicorns from the United States.

Matches are scheduled to be played under the floodlights at 19:00 AST, beginning with a blockbuster opening clash on Thursday, July 23, where the hometown Amazon Warriors square off against the star-studded San Francisco Unicorns.
