–as President Ali congratulates Prime Minister Davis on re-election

PRESIDENT, Dr Irfaan Ali has reaffirmed Guyana’s commitment to the strong friendship and co-operation with The Bahamas.
He emphasised the country’s commitment in a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Phillip Davis on his re-election to office.
“I extend warm congratulations to Prime Minister Philip Davis of The Bahamas on his re-election for a second consecutive term. This renewed mandate is a clear reflection of the confidence and trust the Bahamian people have placed in your leadership, vision and commitment to national development and progress,” President Ali said in a post on official Facebook page.
He added: “Guyana values the strong friendship and co-operation shared with The Bahamas, and I look forward to continuing our partnership in advancing regional integration, economic collaboration and the collective interests of the Caribbean people.”
