SANTOS again grabbed a vital victory in the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Super 16 Cup beating Fruta Conquerors 1-nil on Sunday at the National Training Centre.
Jermain Lewis delivered the game’s lone goal in the in the 73rd minute of the contest.

Meanwhile, Ann’s Grove United FC and Mahaica Determinators played out a stalemate 2-2.
Mahaica Determinations went ahead after goals from Julius Hamilton and Brian James in the 22nd and 33rd minutes of play in the first half.
Ann’s Grove United found their first goal in the 53rd minute of the second half before scoring their equaliser in the 84th, with both goals coming courtesy of Travis Williams.
The tournament now moves to the quarter-final stage at the Providence National Training Centre.
