AS top teams get ready to compete in the final of the KFC Goodwill International Football Championship at the Ministry of Education’s ground, players and teams can be assured that they will be awarded with beautiful trophies provided by Trophy Stall from their newest location on South Road.
Director of the Petra Organisation Troy Mendonca says that Trophy Stall has been a staunch supporter of their organisation throughout the competition.
“Trophy Stall has been one of the cooperate citizens who supporting this tournament from the inception and so we want to thank Ramesh Sunich for sticking with us and helping to see this tournament grow, on behalf of myself and the entire football fraternity we want to thank Trophy Stall for their continued support,” he said.
Sunich, whose business recently expanded to its new South Road location says this is why they continue to grow because of the support of sports.
“It is a pleasure in supporting football in this country and I must thank the Petra Organisation for asking us to come on board and making us involved in this tournament and as you know it is not only football, Trophy Stall has been awarded for sponsoring sports in all competitions for four years and across the last decade,” Sunich added.
The tournament which officially kicked off earlier this month concludes on Sunday at the Ministry of Education’s ground.
The competition features defending champions Chase Academy, West Ruimveldt Secondary and Annai Secondary along with Jose Viera School from Boa-Vista Brazil, Kingston College from Jamaica, Anglican Central Educational Authority (ACEA) from Bahamas and Nickerie Technical from Suriname.
The series also has the backing of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, Royal International Hotel, Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry, Trans Guyana Airways and New GPC.
