BK Security to unveil smart security platform at GuyExpo 2025

BK SECURITY SERVICES, one of Guyana’s leading private security firms, will officially launch its innovative Smart Security initiative at GuyExpo 2025, to be held from November 13 to 16.
The company will showcase its new platform at the “One Guyana Auditorium,” located near the GRA and Ministry of Public Works booths.
Powered by Scylla AI technology, BK Security’s Smart Security platform integrates artificial intelligence with real-time monitoring to detect and respond to threats faster than traditional methods.
The system provides round-the-clock surveillance, gun and weapon recognition, threat detection, and false alarm filtering, ensuring that alerts receive immediate verification and response from trained personnel.
“This is about creating a safer, smarter Guyana,” said Travis Shephard, Managing Director of BK Security Services. “With Scylla AI, we’re moving from reactive to proactive security — protecting lives and assets before incidents occur.”
In addition to the Smart Security platform, BK Security continues to provide a full range of services, including armed and unarmed security, executive bodyguard services, cash-in-transit operations, alarm and camera monitoring, secure transportation, chauffeur services, and airport shuttle operations.
The company will use GuyExpo 2025 as an opportunity to recruit new staff, offering on-the-spot hiring for individuals interested in joining Guyana’s most advanced private security network. Visitors to the expo will be offered special promotions, including 20% off Smart Security installations and 15% off other BK Security services when signing up during the event.
With the launch of Smart Security, BK Security is positioning itself at the forefront of technology-driven safety solutions in Guyana, aiming to enhance both public and private security across the country.
