TORGINOL Paints has wrapped up its highly popular “Name That Shade” promotion, which ran alongside this year’s Caribbean Premier League (CPL) Cricket tournament. The contest, aimed at naming a new CPL-inspired paint colour, drew nearly two thousand submissions on the company’s website. After much deliberation, Torginol has selected a Top Five, with the grand prize winner set to be revealed soon.
Among the finalists are Vedwattie Doodnauth, Kevin Morgan, Alisha Baksh, and Aurielle Melville, who were each rewarded with VIP tickets to the eagerly anticipated match between the Guyana Amazon Warriors and the Trinbago Knight Riders. In addition to the tickets, these finalists also received exclusive Torginol Paints merchandise.
The grand prize winner, who will have the honour of naming Torginol’s new CPL-inspired paint colour, will be announced on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the Torginol Booth at the Guyana National Stadium. This lucky individual will walk away with two VIP tickets to the CPL Finals and exclusive Torginol merchandise. The winning paint name is expected to reflect the vibrant energy of both cricket and Guyana’s dynamic landscape.
The “Name That Shade” contest launched on August 21, 2024, following the International Building Expo, generating significant traffic to the Torginol Paints website. As a proud Guyanese brand, Torginol Paints continues to showcase its commitment to local creativity and quality. This promotion has helped build excitement for the new colour set to join the company’s range, promising to resonate with cricket fans and homeowners alike.
