BCB/Diors Bits and Pieces U-23 tournament bowls off on Sunday

THE opening round of the Berbice Cricket Board’s (BCB) Diors Bits and Pieces U-23 tournament is
scheduled for Sunday with 20 teams expected to participate in the knockout competition which is being sponsored by Sandie Ross, managing director of Diors Bits and Pieces, a popular boutique situated in region five.

This tournament would be the second U-23 tournament for the year after the GCB/Republic bank U-23 tournament which saw Albion emerging as a Berbice zone champions.
The cut-off date of birth is September 1 2000 and the tournament is open only to Berbician players. The 40-over matches are set to commence at 10:00 hours.
Captains are reminded that they are required to be at the venue by 09:45 hours for the toss or they will
forfeit the toss. Teams must be attired in white clothes since red balls will be used.
Players like Kevlon Anderson, Junior Sinclair, Rampertab Ramnath, Jonathan Rampersaud, Govrav
Ramesh, Salim khan, Isaiah Thorne, Ashmini Munsieur, Deodat, Shamal Angel, Zeeynul Ramsammy, Tamoni Caesar, Jeremy Sandia, Matthew Pottaya, Leon Cecil and Ari Afrizal Kadir are expected to participate.
