THE government has suspended, with immediate effect, the three per cent processing fee on the invoice price for milk and dairy products.

The Ministry of Agriculture, in a statement, said it has instructed the Guyana Livestock Development Authority to discontinue the collection of the three per cent processing fee.

“All sanitary requirements for importation of milk and dairy products remain enforced,” the statement said.
