MARVIN Bharrat who is accused of having 2,000 grams of cannabis in his possession for the purpose of trafficking, was, on Friday, released on $300,000 bail by Magistrate Leron Daly.
During an appearance in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, he pleaded not guilty to the offence, which was allegedly committed on March 8, 2022.

According to reports, the accused was apprehended with a bulky bag which, when checked, contained cannabis leaves, seeds and stems.
The case was adjourned to April 8, 2022.
