TWO men, who had pleaded guilty to breaking into Nirva Supermarket on Sheriff Street, were, on Monday, sentenced to 18 months’ imprisonment.
Brian Singh and Jermaine Manning first appeared before Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on November 8, 2021, on a joint break and enter and larceny charge.
They admitted that they broke into the supermarket between November 2 and 3, 2021.
The magistrate later remanded them to prison and set Monday, March 7, 2022, as the date for sentencing.
They both have a criminal record.
