THREE persons were killed after one of two cars that were reportedly racing on the road crashed into the Sharmila and Harrykison Bar at 102 De Willem, Public Road, West Coast Demerara on Monday night.

The three persons killed were patrons at the bar. Their identities were not available up to press time. The driver, who according to police was under the influence of alcohol, was admitted to hospital under police guard as investigations continue. .
