WITH nature as its team, Ultimate Imaging Inc., on Saturday, launched its ‘Ultimate Renew’ beauty spa and massage parlor at its ‘Y’ Hadfield Street, Georgetown location.
The proprietor, Janica Sandy, described the launch as monumental, noting that it was always her dream to establish her own business that is aligned with her love and appreciation for nature as well as beauty and therapy. According to Sandy, in conceptualising the business, she decided that she could create a space that would allow for persons to be pampered while being health and nature conscious.

The business has its own line of 25 personalised skin and body care products, including soaps, skin and body scrubs, and even body oils, that are locally made and created using only organic materials. Sandy noted that she has been part of the beauty industry for over seven years and so, she used this expertise to understand the way skin reacts to different products.
“I wanted to create products that would align with the image I had for the business, and I am big on organic materials, especially in the beauty industry, because I think about how harmful to our skins non-organic materials can be. So, in creating my line, I didn’t want any of my customers to have to worry about that, I wanted them to feel safe and refreshed and relaxed,” Sandy expressed.

Sandy, who is a Canadian trained make-up artist, stated that she will be using her business to ensure not just her customers and employees at the company can benefit but also other upcoming make-up artists and persons interested in being a part of the beauty and cosmetology sector.
Sandy said she has already made arrangements with the United Bridge Builders Mission to provide training opportunities to several youths who have an interest in the field.
“I want to give back because I believe that there are talented Guyanese who just need an opportunity to learn and to grow and I’m willing to provide that training where I can. We have already made arrangements through an organisation to have that facilitated and am pleased to be able to let my business be a part of such an initiative,” Sandy stated.
