IN observance of Father’s Day, Chief-of-Staff (ag) Brigadier Godfrey Bess and Senior Officers of the Guyana Defence Force (GDF), on Friday, presented hampers to fathers across the Force.
The GDF acknowledged that fathers fulfil an essential role in the moulding of their children.

During the presentations, the officers noted that military service is honourable yet demanding but urged the ranks to continue to be diligent. The annual activity is a simple but meaningful gesture to acknowledge the dedication and sacrifices made by these fathers in the fulfilment of their paternal responsibility.
